Ingredients:
Besan - Gram flour 4 cups ( use coarse Besan if available)
Pure Ghee 1 cup
Sugar 2 cups
Choti Ilaychee - Green Cardomon powder 1/4 teaspoon
Instructions:
1. Take a pan and sieve the besan in it.
2. Take a heavy bottomed pan and put it on low heat.
3. Add the ghee and let it melt.
4. Add the besan now.
5. Keep on stirring and cooking the besan for 15 to 20 minutes( until it is done and start giving a nice smell.)
6.Now add all the coarsly grounded nuts.
7. Add the cardmom powder.
8. Stir well and switch off the heat.
9. Let the mixture cool down.
10 Finally add sugar and mix well.
12. Now make small balls (about a ping pong ball size) and roll it in your palm a few times to bind it well.
TIPS: The ladoo s should be made when the besan is bit cooled down after adding the sugar. Keep a pot full of ice cold water to dip your hands in , if it feels hot.
Tip: If you try to use less ghee then the ladoo s will be dry and the besan will stick to your tongue. So don't be stingy use liberal amount of ghee.
