Ingredients:
Maida ( All purpose Flour) 4 cups
Yeast 1 sachet
Luke Warm Water ½ cup
Sugar ¾ cup
Salt 1/2 Teaspoon
Cooking Oil ½ cup
Eggs 2
2 tsp. Cardamom Seeds (Ilaichi Daanay)
Instructions:
1. Dissolve yeast in the ½ lukewarm water in a glass bowl.
2. Add 1 teaspoon of sugar in this bowl and leave aside .
3. Take a glass mixing bowl/ and add the flour ( maida)
4. Add the cardamom seeds.
5. Add the Oil.
6. Add the ¾ cup sugar
7. Add Eggs
8. Add 1 cup of warm water ( you may add a little first and then add as per need later)
9. Add the dissolved yeast ( which you prepared in step 2
10. Knead this mixture thoroughly ( add warm water as needed to adjust the consistency of the dough)
11. Smear the dough with some oil and leave aside in a warm place.
12. The dough will rise in about 2 hours.
13. Spread the dough in and cut 1 inch long , 1/2 inch wide and 1/2 inch thick pieces.
14. Take a greased oven tray and st the pieces in the tray.
15. Heat a oven to 200 Degree and until dry and light brown.
Enjoy with Chai ( Tea)
