Ingredients:
Small Baingan ( obergine or Egg Plant) 1/2kg
jeera (Cumin) 1 teaspoon
Salt 1tsp
Oil 3tbs
Anar dana 1tsp
Garlic 1tsp
Red chillie powder 1/2 teaspoon
Green chillies 3-4
lemon juice 1 teaspoon
Amchur (Mango Powder) 1/2 teaspoon
Instructions:
1. Cut the small Baingans into pieces.
2. Take the Anar Dana, Jeera(Cumin), Red Chilli, Green Chilli, and grind it to a powder.
3. Add salt to this masala mixture.
4. Apply this masala mixture to the Baingan pieces and leave them for 15 minutes.
5. Heat oil in a thick bottomed pan.
6. Put the baingan pieces in the pan and cove the pan and let them cook for 5-7 minutes.
7. Open the pan to see if the pieces have been cooked.
8. Once the pieces have become tender then cook them in the open pan for few minutes.
9. Add the amchur powder and stir.
10. Sprinkle the lime juice on top.


Serve it with Naan, Rice or Roti
