Ingredients:
Please note that this recipes uses Egg.

Ingredients
1. Powder Milk 1 cup
2. Egg 1 Nos.
3. Oil 1 teaspoon
4. Baking Powder 1/4 teaspoon
5. Milk 1 litre
6. Sugar 6 tablespoons
7. Pista chopped ( unsalted) 2 table spoons
8. Kewra water 1/2 teaspoon
9. Cardamom powder 1 pinch
Instructions:
1. Mix the powdered milk, egg, oil,baking powder.
2. Once the dough is done mold it into small balls and then flatten the balls slightly.
3. Boil the milk with sugar and cardamom powder.
4. As soon as the milk starts boiling add the balls in it.
5. The balls will tend to swell up , Lower the heat to simmer.
6. Cook the milk with the balls for another 8- 10 minutes.
7. Remove it from the heat and let it cool
8. Put it in the fridge.
9. Just before serving ad some pistachios and sprinkle some kewra water.


It is always served chilled.

The baby milk powder would not be suitable for making Rasmalai.

Only use the Milk Powder ( and do not use the light version also) we need the normal full fat milk powder for this.

can we use enfamil (baby's powdered milk) ? I tried makin with that but the balls are giving powdery wierd taste ... :(

There would not be any need to add the Maida ( Refined Flour) in Rasmalai, as the dried milk powder adds enough body to Rasmalai.

This recipe does not involve frying, so maida will remain uncooked
