Here are some tips from Ayurveda about water.
Instructions:
1. Drink plenty of water - it cleanses your digestive track and keeps the skin in good health.
2. According to Ayurveda, iced water can really slow down digestion especially when you drink iced water after or during the food. Imagine a greased plate, the moment you pour iced water on it all the oil gets instaneously hard and you can see it sticking on the plate, but if you put warm water on it it will get washed down easily.
3. Try having some warm water with your meals , if you wish you can have some saunf (fennel seeds ) in it. This will help prevent bloating and help the digestion. All of you would remember that in old days the elders always had warm water with their meals.
4. If you dislike the warm water then take the water at the room temperature with the meals.
