Ingredients:
Self Raising Flour 1 cup
Caster Sugar 1 tablespoon
Buttermilk or Milk 1 cup
Egg 1
Butter 1 tablespoon
Instructions:
1. Take a mixing bowl nd sift the Self Raising Flour.
2. Add the buttermilk or milk.
3. Add the Caster Sugar
4. Add the Egg ( Break it first :-) )
5. Wisk all the ingredients until smooth.
6. Rest the better for 30 minutes at room temperature.

7. Take a non stick pan , put it on low heat and grease it with butter.
8. Add 1/4 cup of the mixture nd cook it on each side for 1 minute ( or until the bubbles appear around the edges)
9.Turn and cook on both sides until golden.


TIP : If you are using the butter milk then you may need to add bit more of this as the butter milk consistency is thicker than milk.

Serve it with golden syrup or maple syrup.

Variations
Serve it with Lemon and Sugar
Server it with Cinnamon Sugar and Ice Cream
