Ingredients:
Fine Grain Rice 2 cups
Cinnamon 1 piece-1inch
Cloves 3 nos
Cardamon 4 Nos
Bayleaf 2 nos
Ghee 3 tbsp
Green Chilly 3 Nos (slit)
Onion 2 Nos(finely sliced)
Salt to taste
Corainder 2 tbsp(chopped)
Cashewnut 1 tbsp(fried)
Carrots 1 cup (cut into 1/2inch cubes)
Instructions:
**In a heavy bottom vessel heat the ghee, add cinnamon, cloves, cardmonand bayleaf saute well for a few minutes.

**Add the onions and saute futher till cooked then add the Carrots and stir on well,add the washed rice and stir on high fire.

**Now add 4cups water,the slit chilly salt to taste,1tbsp corainder leaves and stir well , cover and cook on high flamefor five minutes.

**At this stage check the rice and cook on Simmer till the dry consistency is reached.

**Remove and serve in a platter garnished with corainder and cashewnuts

**Serve with your favourite raitha
