Ingredients:
Chicken 1 kg (diced in big pieces)
Oil 5 tbsp
Cloves 5 nos
Bay Leaves ( Tej Patta) 2 Nos
Cinnamom 1 inch piece
Onion 1 cup (thinly sliced)
Ginger 1 tbsp (grated)
For the marinade
--------------------
Curd 1 cup
Red Chilli powder 1 tbsp
Tumeric Powder 1/2 tsp
Garlic & Ginger paste 2 tbsp
Salt to taste
Instructions:
Mix all the Ingredients of the marinade with the Chicken and keep aside for 3 hours.
--Heat the oil in a Kadai,add the cloves, cinnamon and bay leaves and fry for a few minutes.
Add the sliced onions and grated Ginger, fry till golden brown.
--Add the marinated Chicken and cook on high flame for a few minutes, just add 1 cup of water and cook the chicken after mixing well for about 1/2 hour or till chicken is tender and dry.
Add the Salt as per taste as needed ( remember that you have already added some salt during the marination process)
--Good combination for Roti , Naan or Rice Pulav
