Ingredients:
Chicken Breast Fillets 500 grams diced
Curry Leaves 8
Onion Medium 2 finely chopped
Tomatoes large 2 chopped
Lime Juice 2 teaspoons
Water 2 cups
Salt to taste
Red Chilli Powder 1 teaspoon
Hald ( Turmeric Powder) 1 teaspoon
Whole Red Chillies 4
Grated Coconut 4 tablespoons
Cinnamon stick 1
Khus Khus (Poppy Seeds) 2 teaspoons
Cloves 2
Green Cardamoms 2
Coriander Seeds 1 teaspoon
Jeera ( Cumin Seeds) 1 teaspoon
Saunf ( Fennel Seeds) 1 teaspoon
Garlic Paste 2 tablespoon
Ginger Paste 2 teaspoons
Cooking Oil 2 tablespoons
Finely chopped fresh coriander 1 tablespoon
Instructions:
1. Take a non stick fry pan and put it on medium heat.
2. Add 1 teaspoon of oil.
3. Add Poppy seeds, red chillies grated coconut,coriander, cumin ,Fennel seeds,cinnamon,cloves and green cardamoms and roast them for 4 minutesin the oil.
4. Allow to cool.
5. Add the Ginger and Garlic paste in it.
6. Grind this to a fine paste.
7. Now take a Bigger Fry Pan and add some oil and put it on medium heat.
8. Add the onions and fry till golden brown.
9. Add the curry leaves .
10. Add the turmeric powder.
11. Add the chilli powder.
12. Add the paste which you have prepared in step 6.
13. Add the diced tomatoes and fry till the oil starts leaving from sides.
14. Add the chicken and stir well.
15. Keep on stirring for around 5 minutes.
16. Add the lime juice .
17. Add the water to make the curry to the right consistency.
18. Add salt as per taste.
19. Now put a lid on the pan and cook on low heat for around 15 to 20 minutes.
20. Check if the chicken is properly cooked.
Garnish with finely chopped coriander leaves and eat with rice.
