Ingredients:
Onions 10
Tomatoes 10

Oil for cooking 6 tablespoons
Instructions:
This is a great time saving and effort saving if you make this base and store it in your freezer.

Make this paste and store it in small containers to last for a week.
When you want to cook, just cook the veges or meat and add spices, just at the end add this paste.




1. Dice all the onions
2. Dice all the tomatoes.
3. Take a big heavy bottomed pot to accommodate all the ingredients.
4. Put the pot on heat and add the oil
5. Add the onions and stir.
6. Once the Onions are golden brown and start leaving oil add the Tomatoes.
7. Cook it further until the mixture starts leaving the oil again.
8. Once done remove it from heat and cover.
9. Once cooled down, use a hand blender and mix it to a smooth paste.
10. Store this paste in 5 or 7 containers, enough for a single use each day.

This mixture will happily last in your freezer for 15 days.

Before use just microwave it for 2 minutes to thaw it before putting it in your curry.

No cutting and peeling Onions and Tomatoes each day.
Saves on Oil as when you make it in bulk you will use less oil.
The curries turn out to be nice as the veges or meat gets more time to cook in concentrated spices ( as you just add this base at the end to thick up the curry)
The gravy comes out as thick.

Yes you can add ginger and garlic to this paste as well , but best is to add it fresh while cooking your recipe.

To this paste if u add ginger and garlic it will save more time. because most of the gravy receipes need ginger and garlic. it tastes good and good for health also.
