Ingredients:
1 litre Milk
1 table spoon curd (yogurt)

Instructions:
1. Boil the milk in a heavy sauce pan .
2. Once it boils let it cool down a bit to a warm state.
3. In a cup take some of this warm milk and add the yoghurt and stir it well.
4. Place it in a warm place for overnight or for 5-6 hours atleast. During the setting period do not move the container at all.
5. Once it is done trasfer the container to refrigerator.
6. The home made yoghurt is much better than the commercial ones.
7. In overseas countries the commercial yoghurt is made from cream, that is why it is more creamy and more fatty as well !!

Tips:

In colder weather it takes longer to form the yoghurt.
You can use a casserole the ones which are thermally insulated to keep the food warm.

There are yoghurt makers available in the markets , basically they are nothing but a container in which you put the mix of milk and the yoghurt and this container is put into another big container and you add the water in the bigger outer container so that the inner container remains warm.

Once I add the culture to the warm milk, I churn it very quickly with an egg beater. 'Quickly' is the key as you can't let the milk cool down.It is smooth and nice n' firm. Enjoy!!!
