Ingredients:
3 Medium Sized Potatoes (peeled)
1 tsp. Turmeric Powder (Pisi Haldi)
1 tsp. Nigella Seeds (Kalonji)
½ cup Fresh Coriander Leaves - finely chopped
2 Green Chillies (finely sliced)
2 to 3 tbsp. Lemon Juice or Mango Pickle
1 Teaspoon Dried Coriander Powder
Salt (to taste)

Instructions:
This is a quick dish and can be prepared quite easily , they are low fat as not much of the oil is needed, infact you can use the minimum of the oil, or no oil at all if you so wish.

1. Peel and dice the potatoes.
2. Take a sauce pan and put water in it and put it on heat.
3. Add the diced potatoes, make sure that the water is just above the potateos ( when the potatoes are cooked there should be little water left)
4. In this water add the turmeric.
5. Add the Nigella Seeds ( Kalounji)
6. Add the salt.
7. Let the potatoes cook, cover the pot.
8. Once the potatoes have cooked, open the pot to let the water evaporate.
9. Stir the potatoes once or twice to make sure that the water evaoprates.
10. You may remove the pot from the stove and let the steam evaporate.
11. Now add the Green chillies.
12. Add the Mango Pickle and mix it with the potatoes.
13. Add the dried coriander powder and stir.

Garnish with Fresh Coriander.

You can have various combinations

Instead of the pickle you could use some yoghurt.
You can also try some Chaat Masala.
You can also squeeze some Lime Juice.

It is a low fat diet, remember that the Potatoes do not have much fat, but the way we cook them adds fat, like french fries.
