Gout is also known as a rich man’s disease because it seemed to be connected with the rich foods and lifestyle of the upper classes.
The Uric Acid level rised in the blood. It is the high level of uric acid that cause the repeated attacks of acute arthritis known as gout disease.

Diet plays an important role in managing this disease.
Purines consumed in the diet account for about 50% of the uric acid produced in the body. Therefore, a low purine or modified purine diet may help gout improve.
The gout diet puts and emphasis on dairy products, vegetable protein and water intake and a decrease in high purine foods. When this diet is used, studies have shown that gout symptoms decrease and the sudden, painful attacks of gout can be prevented.
Try to eliminate or reduce the foods such as organ meats, sweetbreads, brains, kidney, meat gravies, meat extracts, scallops, wild game, mackerel, herring, anchovies and sardines.
Gout can be cured by using natural home remedy treatments such as cherries.
Cherries is said to be an important home remedy. Whether consumed as fruit or as juice .
You can use canned cherries or fresh cherries and it does not matter if you use sour or sweet cherries. All cherries have been reported to be a gout home remedy.
How much to eat - The amount of cherries to eat a day is between ten cherries and up to one half pound. Some people also found taking cherry juice concentrate (1 tablespoon per day) can help as a natural treatment for gout.
