Ingredients:
Tadka is the north Indian style of garnishing curries with fried onions and garlic. Most often, the onions and garlic are cut into small pieces and fried in oil till golden brown and then added to ready Dal which gives it the name Dal Tadka, often abbreviated to Tadka.
Instructions:
You often hear the word TADKA in the context of Indian food, especially the punjabi food, like Tadka Dal ( Dal tempered with Tadka).
