Ingredients:
Lotus stem 1/2 cut in small pieces
50 grams cornflour
2 teabspoon of White refined Flour
Salt to taste
Whitle pepper powder 1/4 teaspoon
1 tablespoon of oil
1 Teaspoon gigner paste
Red chilli powder 1 teaspoon
Tomato ketchup 50 grams
Dark Soya Sauce 1 teaspoon

2 cups of oil for deep frying.
Instructions:
Takethe Lotus stem and cut in small pieces
Wash it in water and strain the water out.
Put these pieces in a mixing bowl.
Add 50 grams of cornflour
Add 2 teabspoon of White refined Flour
Add Salt to taste
Whitle pepper powder 1/4 teaspoon
Mix well

Take a pan and put oil for deep frying and heat.
Deep fry the lotus stems.
Put them in a plate lined with a kitchen paper towel to remove the excess oil.

To make sauce

Take 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan and heat.
Add 1 Teaspoon gigner paste stir for a minute
Add the red chilli powder (1 teaspoon) and stir
Add the Spring onion -( 2 tablespons)
Add 50 grams of honey.
Add Tomato ketchup( 50 grams)
Add soya sauce (1 teaspoon)

Mix well to form the sauce
Add the fried Lotus stems in the sauce.
Let the sauce coat the fried pieces.

Serve it with steamed rice
