Ingredients:
1. Suji 50 gms
2. Sugar 3 tblspoon
3. Cardamom powder ( a pinch)
4. Raisins 10
5. Almonds slivered ( peeled and cut into small pieces
5. Pistachios 10 cut into small pieces
6. Milk 200 ml
7. Two tblspoon Ghee ( or Oil , the flavour is nice with Ghee )
Instructions:
A nice quick dessert especially in Winters
1. Heat a fry pan on slow heat.
2. Put the sooji ( Semolina) in it and dry roast it for few minutes, until it starts to change the colour.
3. Add the Ghee ( Oil) and then mix it for 2 minutes. ( The Ghee can also be added in the beginning in step 2 along with Sooji ( Semolina). But if you add the Ghee later then you can manage with less amount of Ghee .
4. Once done add the milk and mix it thouroughly so that there are no lumps.
5. Add the sugar and mix.
6. Add the raisins, almonds, pistachios, and cardomon powder.
7. Serve hot.
Tips: It just takes 5 minutes to make this recipe and it is especially good on wintery days, it helps settle the dryness of throat, and relieves soar throat symptoms as well.
