How to store Ginger, Garlic or Chilli paste
Instructions:
Fresh garlic, ginger and chillies can be chopped and blended together with a little salt and kept in an airtight jar and stored in the refrigerator for up to 1-2 weeks.

Instead of buying a ready made ginger, garlic paste this is a better option as the readymade pastes are normally a more than 2 weeks old and the taste and flavour is already lost. It also contains other preservative and may also include vinegar.

Just add a tablespoon to any curry requiring these ingredients.
