Ingredients:
1kg /2.2lbs Diced Lamb
2 tea spoon Ginger Paste
1 teaspoon fresh garlic paste
3 Fresh green chilies chopped
3 Tomato's skinned and quartered
3 Large onion's finely chopped
1tsp Ground turmeric
2tbsp Ground cumin ( Jeera Powder)
2tbsp Ground coriander ( Dhania Powder)
1tsp Red Chilli powder
6tbsp Cooking oil
200m/7floz Warm water
Fresh chopped coriander leaves to garnish
Instructions:
1. Wash and drain meat
2. Heat oil and add chopped onion's fry until just browning then add garlic, ginger and chillies and fry for a further 1-2 minute's
3. Turn down the heat stir whilst you add the turmeric, cumin, coriander and chilli powder, then taking care add the chopped tomato's slowly, simmer for 2-3 minute's
4. Add meat and stir continuously for 1 minute
5. Add water and bring to the boil add salt to taste
6. Turn down the heat, cover and simmer for 30-40 minutes or until meat is tender
7. Add Garam Massala and sprinkle with fresh coriander leaves
Serve it with Naan , Rice or Roti
