Ingredients:
1 Bunch spinach chopped ( Fresh or Frozen)
3 Green chillies chopped
Ginger Paste 1 teaspoon
1 Small onion
2 Tbsp. green moong dal
1/2 Cup corn kernels boiled ( or microwaved for 3 minutes on high)
1/3 Cup cream or malai
One pinch Clove Powder
One pinch cinnamon powder
1 teaspoon Garam masala
1/2 Tsp. turmeric powder
1/2 Tsp. red chilli powder
1/2 Tsp. amchur (dried mango) powder
Salt to taste
3 Tbsp. ghee or Oil
Instructions:
1. Wash Moong Dal.
2. Wash the Spinach.
3.Take a pressure cooker and add the Moong Dal, Spinach, Turmeric Powder, Clove, Cinnamon powder, onion, ginger, chillies.
4 When dal is soft, mash mixture with a fork or ladle or use a mixer.
5. Heat 2 tbsp. ghee, add corn
6. Add the Garam Masala .
7. Add the spinach mixture
7. Add the Salt and Amchur.
8. Stir and cook till thick.
9. Stir in beaten malai or cream. Stir till smooth.
10. Heat remaining ghee, add chilli powder and pour over this while serving.
Serve it with Naan , Rice or Roti
