Ingredients:
When marinating the meat mixture, many of us would like to use the remaining marinade mixture in the cooking pot.
Is it right ?
Instructions:
You are cooking a chicken dish and you have marinated the chicken in a mixture of yoghurt , lime juice and many spices.
While cooking ou have taken the chicken and cooked it in the pan, now what would you do with the remaining marinade liquid, oh well, the simple response would be to throw this remaining mixture in the cooking pot as well to thicken us your curry and to spice it up..
It is important to remember that once the marinade has been in contact with uncooked meat, poultry or seafood, it must be brought to a rolling boil before it can be used as a sauce or gravy.
Boiling the marinade will kill any bacteria.
If you are not going to really boil your curry over then do not add this remaining mixture towards the end of the cooking as it will have many bacteria which could be harmful. Either add this marinade quite early in your cooking so that you can really boil it enough to kill the bacteria, or do not use it at all.
