Ingredients:
400 grams Diced Lamb
One large onion, finely chopped
Garlic Paste 1 Teaspoon
Ginger Paste 1 Tablespoon
Yoghurt 1/2 cup
Cloves 6 nos
Turmeric Powder 1/2 teaspoon
Jeera (Cumin) Powder 1 teaspoon
Dhania Powder ( Coriander Seed Powder ) 2 teaspoons
Red Chilli Powder 1/2 teaspoon
Garam Masala 1 tablespoon
Almonds paste of 20 blanched almonds
Ghee or oil 4 tablespoons
1/2 teaspoon Nutmeg Powder
Cream 1/2 cup
Water 2 glass
Instructions:
Take a heavy bottomed pan and put it on heat.
Add the oil or Ghee and then add the onions.
Fry the onions till light brown.
Add the red chilli powder.
Add the lamb and cook until sealed.
Add the garlic paste
Add the ginger paste.
Add Garam Masala and stir for 2 minutes.
Add yoghurt , turmeric, coriander, cumin, nutmeg.
Stir for a minute or so.
Add water a glass or more and bring it to boil.
Now cover it with a lid and simmer for 30-45 minutes or until the meat is tender.( If you have a pressure cooker then tranfer it to the pressure cooker and cook for 20 minutes)
Once the lamb is completely cooked sprinkle some more garam masala.
Stir in the cream and the almond paste
Bring back to the boil. Simmer for a further 5 minutes.
Serve it with Naan , Rice or Roti
