Ingredients:
1 Cup boiled ChickPeas ( Safed Chana)
Ginger Paste 1 teaspoon
Garlic Paste 1/2 teaspoon
Coriander Powder 1 teaspoon
Salt to ttaste
Jeera or Cumin Seed 1/2 teaspoon
Heeng ( Asoefeteda) 2 pinches
Chat Masala 1 teaspoon
Bread slices 2
Maida ( Plain Flour) 1 tablespoon
Oil for shallow fry ing on a pan
Green Coriander finely chopped 1 tablespoon
Green Chilly finely chopped 1 teaspoon
Finely chopped Onions 2 tablespoons
Instructions:
1. Light mash the boiled Chickpeas.
2. Take a non stick fry pan and put it on medium heat
3. Add 1/2 teaspoon of Jeera(Cumin Seeds)
4. Once they start crackling then quickly add 2 pinches of Heeng.
5. Add the Garlic Paste
5. Now add Green Chilli
5. Add Chopped Onions
6. Add the Ginger Paste
7. Add the Coriander Powder.
8. Add the mashed chick peas
9. Cook it for 5 minutes, keep on stirring.
10.Add salt to taste.
11. Add 1 teaspoon of Chat Masala
12. Once done remove the pan from the heat,
13. Take this mixture and put it in a grinder.
14. Add 2 bread slices in the grinder as well.
15. Grind this mixture thoroughy. ( do not put any water at all)
16. Remove this mixture to a mixing bowl.
17 . Add 1 teaspoon of oilive oil in this mixture.
18. Add 1 tablesoon of Maida ( Plain Flour)
19. Knead this mixture to a dough.
20 Leave this dough aside for 10 minutes
21 Roll the dough into cylindrical shape ( the size of your thumb)
22 Shallow fry these kebabs in a non stick pan with some oil.
While serving sprinkle some chat masala, finely chopped green chilli and finely chopped green coriander.
Enjoy with tea or coffee.
